The mission of FijiFirst is to build a fair and just society where the benefits of progress are spread widely to all. To also create a system that provides citizens with equal opportunities to progress, and for a person’s contributions to be recognised and appreciated on the basis of merit.
The name FijiFirst symbolises commitment to our nation. We firmly believe in our principles of fairness and equality, and our commitment to the well-being of all Fijians. We want to move Fiji forward on the world stage and lead the way for development in the Pacific.
Over the past few years, our results have spoken for us. We are now enjoying economic development and business investment is steadily increasing in most of our industries. Fiji has already been forecasted for continued growth for the period ahead by international benchmarking agencies.
Our Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is dynamic, outspoken and is not afraid to speak about issues that affect our nation to global audiences. We have and will, achieve much for Fiji and our people. For the first time in Fiji's history, we now have a President who is a commoner, a man of and for the people. This symbolises our multi-racialism and our stand for fairness and equality.
